Lunch will be provided and session will take place at the Convention Center.

Registration Policies
- Transfers/Substitutions
If your registration has been fully paid and you are unable to attend, you may substitute another person in your place.
February 6, 2026: Final day to submit substitutions for conference registration.
- Refunds
Refund requests are processed in accordance with this refund policy if you are unable to attend the conference and have not transferred your paid registration. Please allow up to 30 days for us to process your request. Refunds are handled in the order they are received.
January 12, 2026 (25 days before event registration closes on February 6):
- Deadline to request a refund for canceling your conference registration.
- Refunds requested by this date will be issued minus a $100 administrative fee.
February 6, 2026:
- Last day to register for the event.
- Deadline for substitutions for conference registration.
- All registrations must be paid in full by February 6th.
- Cancellations
NACEP and South Texas College reserve the right to cancel the conference in the event of circumstances beyond its control. The total amount of liability of NACEP and its partners will be limited to a refund of the registration fee. Attendees who purchase non-refundable airline tickets do so at their own risk.
Fees for this self-sustaining conference are estimated to cover the costs, which include staff salaries, registration, record keeping, planning and evaluation, and may include food, taxes, and service fees to vendors, and room rebate fees from the event hotel.

- Accommodations

NACEP and South Texas College welcome all individuals to attend our conference. - Pets/Animals
No pets will be allowed on or off the Conference premises, unless deemed as a Service Animal. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a Service Animal is defined as - "...any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability. Other species of animals, whether wild or domestic, trained or untrained, are not service animals for the purposes of this definition. The work or tasks performed by a service animal must be directly related to the individual's disability..." Animals other than dogs are not considered Service Animals (although in some instances, miniature horses may be used), nor are animals that provide emotional support, comfort or companionship. To qualify as a Service Animal, the dog must be trained to do work or perform tasks which are directly related to the individual's disability. Examples of work or tasks include but are not limited to:
- Guiding individuals who are blind or low vision
- Alerting people who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Stabilizing/calming a person with anxiety or Posttraumatic Stress Disorder during a panic attack or flashback
- Assisting an individual in a wheelchair
- Smoking/Alcohol
To provide a safe and healthy environment, the Summit for Dual Credit Programs and South Texas College are smoke and alcohol-free zones. All interior and exterior areas of the Conference are designated as smoke/tobacco/e-cigarette and alcohol-free environment except where designated. The Summit for Dual Credit Programs and South Texas College forbid the unlawful manufacture, possession, sale, use or distribution of illegal drugs and alcoholic beverages at on-and off-campus college-sponsored events.
- Firearms and Weapons
The Summit for Dual Credit Programs and South Texas College are committed to providing a safe environment for all visitors, college affiliates, and its employees and to respecting the right of individuals licensed to carry a handgun in the state of Texas.
- Name Badges
Registered attendees must wear their official conference name badge to access conference events such as breakout sessions, social mixers, etc.
- Guest of Attendees including Children
To provide a distraction free and maintain a learning environment attendee guest(s) and children, including infants, are not allowed to attend the Conference and/or any Conference activities such as breakout sessions, social mixers, etc.
- Conference Attire
The Summit for Dual Credit Programs encourages a business casual attire. Layered clothing is strongly suggested, as some rooms might get cooler than others.
- Standing & Sitting in Sessions
To comply with Fire Marshall regulations, no standing or sitting on the floor during a breakout session that has reached its capacity. If the breakout session is full, we kindly ask that you select a different session to attend.
- Video/Photo Release
Photographs and videos will be taken during the Summit for Dual Credit Program conference and its activities. By attending the Summit, you are agreeing to allow us to use the captured image(s) for current and future Summit marketing materials such as publications, website, social media, etc. By attending the Summit, you consent to the use of photos and videos, without compensation.
- Liability
NACEP and STC are not responsible for any property damage, property loss, or bodily/personal injury while attending the Conference.
